Albert Garibaldi  

Albert Garibaldi has been with BESD since 1999. During his time at Banta he has served as an Educator, Principal, Assistant Superintendent of Facilities, Curriculum and Personnel, Superintendent/Principal, and Superintendent; a position he currently holds. Mr. Garibaldi received his A.A. degree from San Joaquin Delta College, his B.A. degree from University of California at San Diego, his teaching and administrative credentials from California State University Stanislaus, and his Masters in Education from Western Governors University. Prior to his service at Banta, Mr. Garibaldi served as an educator in the Holt Union School District, as a coach at Edison High School in Stockton, and was employed in the field of print media.

Mr. Garibaldi believes that every student can learn and that as educators we should never be satisfied in the progress we have made with our students. He believes it is our duty to do what is in the best interests of the students we serve and will serve in the future whether or not it may be popular at the time. He is passionate about meeting the needs of students from all of the diverse backgrounds in the district. His wife Julie is a certified public accountant and they have three children Alberto, Amelia and Jacob. In his spare time Mr. Garibaldi enjoys researching history, analyzing non-fiction research and playing golf.
